Awaiting Ella.

Today I took pictures of Sara and her beautiful family as they await the arrival of little baby Ella. Sara and her husband were gracious and very fun to photograph. Their sweet four year old daughter (who is very excited to be an older sister!) was a joy to be around (she loved my shoes and kept telling me so--an instant friend!). The nursery is adorable--I love pink and brown--and I definitely enjoyed snapping some keepsake pictures of the room that will someday hold their precious daughter. I'm so excited for this couple!

Jason and Anna.

Today I had the privilege of photographing Jason and Anna. This was a great shoot! I love doing engagement pictures because it is so fun to see the dynamics between the couple. Catching those candid moments that show their true personalities is priceless!

Bob.

My client this morning just called and canceled, since the little boy I was supposed to photograph woke up with a fever and green snot. Not fun.

So, because I really want to post a picture today, here is a picture I took of Caleb and my parents' neighbor, Bob, last Christmas. It's one of my favorites.

Six Months.

I took Caleb's six month pictures today (I can't believe he's already almost six months old!). This was one of my favorites. Sweet baby.

Morgan.

Morgan's Mom called me to come and take some pictures of her daughter before her senior prom. This was so fun and Morgan was a great sport--and a gorgeous one at that!

Presentation.

I finally figured out how to dress up the CDs full of proofs that I give to clients. I ordered white boxes and printed some labels that had my contact information, which was nice, but a little plain. They needed just a little extra touch, so I headed to Hobby Lobby and found some ribbon that I love! This was the color of the bridesmaid dresses in our wedding, so maybe I'm a bit partial. :)

Alayna.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of photographing a friend of mine's beautiful baby girl, Alayna. We took these at my house in the living room and Alayna was wonderful and so fun to photograph. Her two brothers (and Caleb) were watching Bolt as we took the pictures and Alayna did a great job of staying focused amidst the chaos!
